It’s all about your state of mind…
It’s amazing how a five-hour drive can totally change your mind and thus your mood and outlook. The key is to target those things that bring positive momentum. It’s not perfect science and is probably related a lot to sleep and circumstances, but it’s good to practice focusing on good things and how you’re going to progress, rather than negative things and retrospective digression. The past is good to ponder as a compass to alter direction, but terrible if you dwell on what you should have done differently.
